Jamie's Story

My journey with Adder began in February 2008 when I joined as a UK Sales Executive. It didn’t take long before my role started to expand— over the course of two years I was promoted to Account Manager and then to Strategic Sales Manager. Looking back, I owe a lot of that early progress to the support of my line management and the various training programs that helped me develop new skills.

The Strategic Sales Manager role was expanded after a few years and I had the opportunity to work overseas in the Middle East and Europe. That was a great experience for me due to the collaboration and support I had with colleagues and partners. Having introduced new sales approaches and a vision for growing the region, I was promoted to VP of Sales for EMEA in late 2016.

What I appreciate most about Adder is how the management has always supported my growth, promoting me into new roles while also investing in me to develop the skills necessary for success. They trusted me to learn and develop along the way, and that trust, combined with the training opportunities they provided, gave me the confidence to step up and tackle new challenges.

One standout education milestone in my career was completing a management course at Ashridge Business School, funded by Adder, between 2018 and 2020. That experience helped me build the leadership and strategic skills I needed to lead teams and manage the growing demands of the EMEA market.

Now, after more than 16 years with the company, I can reflect on just how much I’ve grown—both in my career and as a leader—thanks to the opportunities and support I’ve received. My journey is a testament to how Adder fosters personal and professional growth, empowering its people to take on more and succeed at every step.
