Temporary Production Operative

We are looking for a full-time, temporary member of the manufacturing team with responsibility for following procedures from electromechanical assembly, programming and production test right through to packing of finished goods. This role is initially for a period of 3 months, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role in the future. We would like the successful candidate to start in the week commencing 31st March.

You are likely to be recruited into a particular area or job such as assembly, test or packing; however, we aspire to be a lean, flexible workforce so movement into other areas on a day-to-day basis as required will be expected.

Skills & Attributes
  • A good level of dexterity will be required to carry out required tasks
  • Must be able to use computer-based systems such as Microsoft Office e-mail, manufacturing based labour and fault logging systems and be able to carry out basic legislative on-line training 
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience working in a medium volume electromechanical manufacturing environment is advantageous
  • No formal qualifications are required but you must be able to read and interpret information and specifications required to perform your job
  • GCSE level or equivalent in Maths & English would be advantageous
  • On the job training will be provided
