Bausch + Lomb

The process of packaging contact lenses into a holder and dosing with preservation fluid requires a sterile environment. Whilst most of the process is automated and achieved via machinery, there is still an element of human interaction required. A new project to install contact lens packaging machines at Bausch + Lomb highlighted the need for a high performance KVM solution to give technicians instant access to 20 physical machines from four user workstation. The aim was to make the working environment far more efficient, productive and cost effective, as not all 20 computers would need access at the same time.

The fully functional KVM matrix solution met the requirements of the project and brings flexibility, high performance and scalability to the application. The team at Bausch + Lomb were extremely satisfied with the end result of this project and the levels of efficiency that the technicians now enjoy.
