GBH

GBH is one of the largest public media organizations in the United States, producing and distributing world-class educational content for television, radio and online platforms. With multiple TV and radio licenses, a thriving streaming division, and a robust educational department GBH supplies a significant portion of PBS’s most recognizable programming, including Frontline, Nova, American Experience and Antiques Roadshow.

After evaluating multiple vendors at NAB Show, GBH connected with Adder’s team and were impressed by the flexibility and modularity of the ADDERLink® INFINITY range. The ability to integrate seamlessly and expand incrementally made Adder the natural choice.

GBH began the rollout, starting with its TV air chain to ensure mission-critical systems were stable before expanding to studios, radio operations, and even its sister station in Springfield, MA (NEPM). The deployment included:

• ADDERLink® INFINITY 4001 for 4K capabilities in editing suites
• ADDERLink® ipeps+ for secure remote access
• ADDERLink® INFINITY Manager with the 192 endpoint licences for software management with tailored user profiles for streamlined operations

The installation was straightforward; in-house engineers were able to integrate new hardware without needing extensive technical support.
