ADDER CATx PS2 CAM
CAMs (Computer Access Modules) are used in conjunction with the ADDER® CATx KVM and Extender products to connect to a range of machine types.
CAMs allow the user to connect multiple different machine platforms to an Adder CATx switch or KVM extender. The ADDER® CATx PS2/PS2A Computer Access Module (CAM) allows connections to machines with, VGA, Audio and PS2 ports.
A computer access module is a small device used to connect the required output ports of a computer to a standard CAT5e, CAT6 or CAT7 cable. The unit sits inline and does not require any additional power to operate, instead sourcing its. The main body is constructed from a tough ABS material which houses the RJ45 connector. From this main body, one or more connections can be made into the rear of your target computer/server.
All ADDER CAMs use Adder Keep Alive technology to ensure that the keyboard and mouse inputs to the computer remain active, even when the particular channel is not selected. This action ensures that there are no connection delays or problems as the port is selected.

Industry leading resolution of:
1600 x 1200 to 200 m (650 ft.)
The ADDERLink X200 applies 128 steps of signal compensation enabling fine picture adjustments.
The ADDERLink X200 offers its own brightness correction to ensure images are crisp, clear and bright.
The ADDERLink X200 AS/R model has integrated skew correction with a 300MHz bandwidth (1/4 of a pixel movement at 1600 x 1200 resolution). This removes the video skew issues that can be caused by
longer CATx cables.
Each receiver is fitted with two ports to enable connection to a local and remote computer, or two remote computers. The user can quickly select between these ports using keyboard hotkeys or mouse control. Individual video brightness, compensation and skew settings can be applied to each connection.
Each receiver may be connected to one or two USB, PS/2 or Sun style computer access modules. Furthermore, the X200 receiver unit may be used as the remote user station for any ADDER CATx KVM switch.
Unless an extender actively supports DDC some wellknown high performance video cards cannot be used at high resolutions. The ADDERLink X200 fully supports DDC.
44.1kHz digital stereo audio delivers high fidelity audio for speakers.
