  • Seamless switching by mouse control with Free-Flow technology. Free-Flow allows users to automatically switch between target computers by moving the mouse pointer from screen to screen.
  • Instant switching with USB True Emulation. Adder’s USB True Emulation technology overcomes limitations of other KVM switches by emulating the true character of connected devices, to all computers, simultaneously. This means the operator can use extra function keys, wheels, buttons and controls, without sacrificing switching times.
  • Independent simultaneous device selection. Switching options allow operators to use the keyboard and mouse on one computer while having USB peripherals and speakers independently connected to different computer(s). It is still possible to switch all the connected devices to any one of the connected computers at any time.
  • Keep-alive function. Users have the option to choose which computers ‘stay alive’, preventing target computers from sleeping while not in use, useful in situations where rapid switching is required.
  • Multi monitor Free-Flow. The system is able to support up to 16 monitors per computer. To enable Free-Flow on multimonitor computers, a driver must be installed on the target computer. (Windows only).
  • Audio mixing. Users can choose which audio source to hear, regardless of which computer is being operated.
  • External control options. The unit can be controlled and switched via hotkeys, mouse clicks, Ethernet or RS232. With the open API, the unit can be easily set up and integrated into third party systems.
  • Screen illumination module. The CCS-XB expansion module is an optional accessory that identifies which screen is being controlled using an LED indicator. The color and intensity can be controlled for each screen. A maximum of ten LED indicators can be supported.
  • Redundant power. For mission critical applications, dual power inlets are available.
  • Copy and Paste. Copy and paste up to 200KB of formatted text between directly connected Windows computers. Encrypted data setting available. A driver must be installed on each computer.

Product features part 1
  • Uni-directional data paths for keyboard and mouse: One-way data paths ensure that data isolation is assured by hardware, rather than by microprocessor software and protect against timing analysis or forced malfunction attacks
  • Designed for minimal electromagnetic emissions and isolation of electrical crosstalk: Extensive shielding of the outer casing and of internal circuitry along with  60dB crosstalk isolation ensures that less than 1/1000th of any signal is transferred to another computer. External probing and unauthorized internal access are prevented through the unit design, with as few apertures as possible
  • No shared RAM between ports: The keyboard and mouse processor is powered down and reset at each switchover to prevent shared RAM leakages. Separate memories hold the Num, Caps and Scroll states with limited accessibility and all data buffers are actively cleared once they have been used
  • Hardwired port isolation:  Data Diodes implemented within hard-wired electronic circuitry ensure unidirectional flow of critical data paths, safeguarding any compromised peripheral by preventing reading of information or transfer of data by another system. Peripherals are always powered down and re-initialized in the event of a change of channel, providing an additional of protection against hidden peripheral malware

  • No critical software reliance: Minimized use of software within the unit avoids the possibility of subversive reprogramming. One-time programmable storage replaces flash memory in all security critical areas of the device
  • Restricted USB function: The USB ports only support keyboards and mice and hotkey functions are disabled.  Other devices, such as USB storage drives cannot be connected
  • No microphone connections: To prevent small levels of crosstalk noise from being “recorded”
  • Independent power supplies block power line signaling: The circuitry for each port is independently powered from the USB lead. Power line signaling is blocked as different port circuits cannot share the same power feed
  • ADDERView SecureSwitch Digital Standard checks its own operation:  Hardware and software must align before data flow is enabled. The device continuously checks its own status; operation is paused and the error light shows in the event of any unanticipated interaction
  • Maximum compatibility through true platform independence: USB keyboard or mice and dual link DVI-I monitor interfaces are used to enable true platform independence
  • High-performance digital or analogue video: Full DVI bandwidth operation of the dual link DVI interface ensures higher end applications requiring high performance video are not compromised. The DVI interface randomizes the low order video bit in order to avoid snooping
