The ADDERLink™ XDIP is a compact, easy to install, fanless matrix solution that runs on a standard IP network and enables users to extend and manage their computers with ultra-low latency, HD video and stereo audio. Product Features

Connect and Go: easy-to-install, user-friendly KVM Matrix solution, which enables the user to seamlessly switch between computers within the network, including individual PCs or laptops. Equipped with HDMI and USB local inputs, the XDIP is compatible with a wider range of devices, including most monitors, which, in turn, simplifies the setup process.

Ergonomically optimized: fanless, the XDIP is totally silent in operation, which reduces noise and distractions at the user workstation. Physically, it is small and compact, which will actively improve the ergonomics of any control room.

Visually perfect video: high quality, low latency streaming and real-time control. The video quality of the XDIP is indistinguishable from working directly at the source computer; the video extension system is compressed every frame is sent with a minimal latency of 24ms (1½ frames at 60Hz).

Scalable - no limitation on extension distances: no distance limitations and no specialist cables. Video, USB2.0 and audio all pass along a single minimum spec of CAT5e cable allowing reuse of existing infrastructure cables in the building. Distance is linked to the IP standard of 100m runs; longer distances are achieved by routing through your IP infrastructure.

High quality user experience: easy to use thanks to the intuitive user interface, which allows the administrator and the user to configure their settings. Hotkeys can be customised and defined by the user to facilitate switching between devices.

Transmitter or receiver all in one device: delivered in a zero-config state, you can plug the units in and start working with them straight away. It does not require a central administration server for installation or even any software to be installed. A simple wizard takes you through setup at the start of life of the product.

An ‘at the PC’ user experience: configurable hotkeys allow the user to instantaneously switch between the local and remote computers at will. Digital techniques preserve the quality of the user experience and so that keyboard and mouse operate with the same responsiveness as working directly at the source computer, and the quality of the video is indistinguishable with minimal latency. Speakers or headphones can be used with high quality audio delivered to users at their console.

Configurable user settings: multilingual support, which can be configured to present screens in different languages, and to select country-specific keyboards. Unauthorised changes to user settings are prevented using password protection. Hotkeys are configurable to prevent conflicts with applications.
