Penang, Malaysia was the chosen destination for the Adder 2023 APAC Partner Event (15th-18thAugust). Adder’s network of valued partners, distributors and resellers gathered from every corner of the region to discuss and share knowledge on 'all things' KVM. Adder welcomed over 40 travelers from Singapore, Japan, South Korea, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia, India, and Australia.
The event featured global updates from the Adder executive team, and partners also took the opportunity to showcase their business models, challenges, and opportunities throughout the Asia Pacific region. The highly collaborative sessions meant everyone had an opportunity to learn from their peers’ about new ways to drive Adder KVM revenue.
Opening the event, SVP global sales & marketing, Neil Hillier, provided insight into Adder’s outstanding performance in the previous financial year, as well as detailing the latest products news and updates on exciting upcoming announcements. Commenting on the event, he said, “It’s great to see so many of our APAC partners again, even more so after what’s been a tough few years for everyone. Seeing familiar and fresh faces in the audience is a clear indication of Adder’s continued growth and success in the region.”
Loki Ong, VP Adder APAC, presented a detailed update on opportunities and strategic insight, specifically for the APAC region. He said about the event, “It’s so good to have the team back in the same room after the pandemic. The atmosphere demonstrated the importance of bringing everyone together in this way. Our partners are critical to Adder’s success and creating a forum to have open discussion and insight into the challenges and opportunities they face means we can take strategic action to improve our partner support.”
Closing the main session, Duncan Miller, global marketing director at Adder, provided an update on the latest strategic marketing direction and showcased exciting new initiatives aimed to directly support partners as they continue to succeed with Adder. Commenting on the event, he said, “The Adder marketing team have been extremely busy working on new initiatives that we know will both directly and indirectly help our partners in APAC, and around the globe, increase their Adder business. Having the opportunity to showcase these initiatives and get direct, instant feedback, is critical to success.”
Next, Adder partners took turns to update the congregation on their latest business developments, specifically the wins and opportunities they are experiencing with Adder’s high performance IP KVM.
Mr Bunawidjaja Bunardi, director, PT Alvasta Teknologi, said about the event, “We’ve worked with Adder for more than eight years, and they continue to showcase the latest technology and innovation in the market. Attending the APAC partner event is a ‘must’ for us. The engagement with both Adder’s senior executives and fellow peers in the region gives us insight we couldn’t get otherwise.”
